To think it’s been over a year since we released “Yuri The Only One…” After hundreds of thousands of views, adoring fans, raging trolls, and things I never imagined, here we are. Music video #2. The sophomore single. The real test for any band. Will the fans stay loyal, or go chasing after the next thing?
The success and attention since writing “Yuri The Only One” has changed my life. At the time, I was lovestruck with the people and experiences I had from attending anime conventions. I had to put my whole heart into it in order to write it, and there’s no way someone could fake it. For anyone who is a musician reading this, having a breakout single is every bit as awesome as it’s cracked up to be. It was something I wanted for many years, and I feel like I finally reached what I was trying to accomplish.
From playing in local bands, composing with midi, and running songwriting workshops at local anime conventions as a volunteer – now I’m getting invited to perform live at anime conventions all over North America, getting fan mail, signing autographs, and most importantly, meeting people I relate to and making friends. Thanks so much to everyone who enjoyed and helped share the song. Without you, none of it would have happened.
With “Yuri The Only One” LeetStreet Boys proved that there is an audience for otaku music. So now that we did it once, we’ve gotta do it again. In the music industry, you’re as good as your last hit. The public is fickle.

Early concept art for “Guitar Hero Hero.”
It took much longer than anticipated, with all types of unpredictable drama getting in the way. But after the smoke cleared, N8 pulled through countless hours, sharing the vision of artistic success. I can honestly say that we put everything we could into “Guitar Hero Hero,” and I’m confident that nobody is going to be disappointed. If LeetStreet Boys is meant to go further, this is what’s going to take it there.
Soon we’ll see…
