Looking for some weekend entertainment? College Saga is a YouTube classic. For those who haven’t yet seen it – totally worth the 40 minute investment to watch the full piece. A must for fans of Final Fantasy and 16 bit era RPG’s.

Nintendo Kills The Hero Of Time

Monday, January 4th, 2010

Dang it. Nintendo pulled out the cease and decist on The Hero Of Time. Not surprising, but disappointing.

I finally got to watch The Hero Of Time last week, and (despite some flaws) it was a fantastic piece of fandom. I guess I should feel privileged now to have seen it under the circumstances.

Why is Nintendo hating on the devotion and hard work of their fans? It’s not like they’re producing an actual Zelda movie, and it feels like they’re only picking on this one because it’s actually good. They can’t argue much about concern over bastardizing the franchise either. *cough* Ewe Boll *cough*

Update: If you would like to contact Nintendo Of America and let them know how much this sucks, you can do this here.
