We’re proud to announce that we’re launching a new website / blog here on leetstreetboys.com.  Our goal is to make this website the ultimate destination for LeetStreet Boys, to interact with the band, artists, and other LeetStreet Boys fans. Here are some things you can expect to see here coming up:

Convention / Performance coverage -
Reports from anime conventions and other events where we’ve performed. Follow us along our live touring experiences!

Webcomic – That’s right! We’re launching a new LeetStreet Boys webcomic coming soon.

Entertainment / Industry news - Want to know what’s happening in the world of music, anime and video games? We’ll post links to related articles about recent events and commentary on them.

What else?? – Want to know our opinion on something? Have a question about the band? Write to us at leetstreetboys (at) gmail (dot) com, and we will answer our fan mail. If Strong Bad can do it, so can we!

Check back for updates soon, and don’t forget to check out our album!

Masquerade sing-along at Anime Boston

Friday, May 15th, 2009

I’m delighted to announce that at Anime Boston this year, our song “Masquerade” will be the sing-along song leading into the Anime Boston 2009 cosplay masquerade! If you’re going to be at Anime Boston, go to the masquerade (obviously) and belt it out when the song comes up. The lyrics will also be onscreen on a slide projector. Sing along if you know the words!

Anime Boston debuted the music video for “Yuri The Only One” last year before anyone else saw it. We love AB! The Masquerade sing-along happened because LeetStreet Boys fans on the Anime Boston forums came out in droves and requested it. I feel so lucky that we have loyal and passionate fans who troll the Anime Boston forums. (Thanks Amy for alerting me about the forum thread.)

I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again, anime convention staff members listen to their audience, and respond to ideas that attendees have to offer. So if you want to see LeetStreet Boys at a convention near you, you know what to do. The system works!

Who is going to Anime Boston, and who will you be cosplaying as? (Respond in comments below.)

Buy Our CD At Anime Boston

Tuesday, May 19th, 2009

Looking to pick up our CD, but but don’t have a credit card? Going to Anime Boston? Well then, you can buy our CD at the con with cash!

You’ll be able to find our album in both the dealers room and artist alley. In the dealers room, go to the BK Comics table, or if you’re in the artist alley, then head over to Zodi-ACK! Productions. Both vendors are selling the album for $10 dollars, and only have a limited supply (so get yours before they run out.) BK Comics and Zodi-ACK! are both close friends of ours, so we want them both to do well.
