A lone knight rides into battle. What type of weapon will he take with him?

Justin X Rose.

Is this guy going to give Matt any trouble?

On stage. How awesome would it be to play at an anime convention near you?

What in the world could be shooting those lasers?
Aligned with this week’s music video pre-launch, here is the very talented V Jono’s rendition of “Guitar Hero Hero.” I’m really impressed with the vocal harmony, and the beautiful flamenco-style acoustic guitar solo. (What would “Guitar Hero Hero” be without a kickass solo, right?) To listen and freely download, click on the text below:
V recently formed a new band called 8r0k3n H410 (Broken Halo.) You can listen to more of their music on MySpace. Rock on, V!

To think it’s been over a year since we released “Yuri The Only One…” After hundreds of thousands of views, adoring fans, raging trolls, and things I never imagined, here we are. Music video #2. The sophomore single. The real test for any band. Will the fans stay loyal, or go chasing after the next thing?
The success and attention since writing “Yuri The Only One” has changed my life. At the time, I was lovestruck with the people and experiences I had from attending anime conventions. I had to put my whole heart into it in order to write it, and there’s no way someone could fake it. For anyone who is a musician reading this, having a breakout single is every bit as awesome as it’s cracked up to be. It was something I wanted for many years, and I feel like I finally reached what I was trying to accomplish.
From playing in local bands, composing with midi, and running songwriting workshops at local anime conventions as a volunteer – now I’m getting invited to perform live at anime conventions all over North America, getting fan mail, signing autographs, and most importantly, meeting people I relate to and making friends. Thanks so much to everyone who enjoyed and helped share the song. Without you, none of it would have happened.
With “Yuri The Only One” LeetStreet Boys proved that there is an audience for otaku music. So now that we did it once, we’ve gotta do it again. In the music industry, you’re as good as your last hit. The public is fickle.

Early concept art for “Guitar Hero Hero.”
It took much longer than anticipated, with all types of unpredictable drama getting in the way. But after the smoke cleared, N8 pulled through countless hours, sharing the vision of artistic success. I can honestly say that we put everything we could into “Guitar Hero Hero,” and I’m confident that nobody is going to be disappointed. If LeetStreet Boys is meant to go further, this is what’s going to take it there.
Soon we’ll see…
In this video, “One Take Riz” does takes of the solo in Guitar Hero Hero, while Frogs (off camera) engineers. The guitars were produced at Duct Tape Studios in Los Angeles, better known as Ryan’s apartment.
Who here reading this is a musician? What instrument do you play?
Live in the northeast and looking for a good time this coming weekend? Come to ConnectiCon, and catch the Convention Premiere of “Guitar Hero Hero” on the big screen. Our video will be part of the fan made video contest (non-competitive entry) and will be shown at 10am, on Saturday August 1st. Check out this awesome poster they made to help get the word out, which took me completely off guard. We’re really flattered!

We won’t be performing at ConnectiCon, but I (Matt) will be there all day Saturday hanging out. Additionally, our album will be available for sale in both the artists’ alley and dealer’s room. Huge thanks to Lyndsey for helping organize this, and we’re super excited about it. See you at ConnectiCon this weekend!
Here’s a fun Guitar Hero Hero themed AMV from FoxC2008 for this week. Currently working on some more cool stuff to do with this song…
Don’t forget to send us your fan videos, music, art, photos or anything else you’d like to share!

We are pleased to announce that Guitar Hero Hero is the 25th most popular song on JamLegend for the year 2009. JamLegend has almost 800 songs, and Guitar Hero Hero has had over 200,000 plays to date!
Considering we didn’t upload this song until November and it’s been only 2 months, this is pretty spectacular. Had it been up for a full year, it would likely have an even higher rank. The song is currently #16 on the charts and has been as high as #2. Thanks so much to all our fans on JamLegend.
I suspect that the “incredibly fun” guitar solo has something to do with it.
