I used to be terrified of them…I couldn’t even go on kiddy roller coasters…but now I love them….especially the shot of adrenaline that I get about halfway through it…

Hate ‘em. I’ve been on 2 in my life, and I hated both times.

Honestly with some of the insane rides I’ve been on, a rollercoaster is a simple breeze, and then you get the ones that are either faster, differently seated, or hell just plain crazy
Love ‘em. Especially rickety wooden ones. No loops, no barrel rolls, just good, old fashioned, throw-you-around fun. Back in ’99 my family took a trip to New York and I got a chance to ride The Cyclone. We used to have a slightly larger, mirror-image replica in Houston, but it just wasn’t the same, especially once they added metal support columns for stability. The whole point of a wooden coaster is its INstability. Still, when Astroworld closed down in 2005, it was torn down, and I miss it. Although, my favorite coaster was called Greased Lightning and was essentially just a powered loop launch (which then took you backwards through the same loop). My favorite part about it was such a short ride and the lines were short enough that you could go 5 or 6 times in a single half-hour.

They’re alright, but… They don’t give me an adrenaline rush anymore, or scare me.
