Leetstreet Boys: A Comic-Con Poem

My ONLY con memory was at OMGcon this year. I placed second in a Mario Kart Wii tourament, absolutely killed in anime karaoke (sang COLORS from Code Geass), saw amazing cosplays of various characters, got to meet the American voice of Kaoru Hitachiin, and made tons of friends. I also got to glomp somebody. ^_^

I watched a guy beat Metal Slug 4 in the arcade, start to finish, on the hardest difficulty.

My first convention which was AAC-08′ me and some friends from FPU’s aniem club the nigth before stayed up making costumed and all the upper classman and one cute guy had amazing outfits and looked good while me and the rest of the freshies looked horrible.At the end of the convention when we were sweating and thirsty and hungry on the bus home from all the dancing and panels and fun we had I looked at my best friend and said “Aren’t you glad we look like crap!” The fun made up for our cosplay.

Anime Banzi. The best dance I have ever been to.

Conneticon this year. I cosplayed as Ghost from Modern Warfare 2, and had at least 8 to 10 people recognize who I was. The best part was that out of the 8 to 10 people, two of them were girls. Life is good!

Also, people took pictures of me, and the 3 days at the con was nothing short as bliss away from home.

Probably when I met Mary E. McGlynn at A-Kon. She’s my favorite voice actress, and I’m so glad I got to meet her. :3 She was so nice, and autographed my Ghost In the Shell T-Shirt and Naruto DVD. SHE’S SO AWESOME!

Nebraskon ’09, cosplayed as Itachi and attended my own funeral along with two other Itachi’s. Also, nearly everyone at the con wanted a picture of me. Some even wanted to pay me for a picture. >w<

only con I’ve been to was animethon last year, and to be honest i don’t know if i could pick just one memory from it, the whole thing was a total blast! cant wait for this years! so soon X3

Never been to a con. E3 is the only convention that interests me, and that’s invitation only these days, or so I hear. I think I remember them saying they went back to allowing anybody to go, but I may have been dreaming that…

I went to Anime Boston ’10 and cosplayed as Tsubaki from Soul eater and went with a bunch of my friends. We were about to leave to head home since we were only going one day and I saw a Shuichi Shindo (gravitation) cosplayer and ran up the stairs to get a hug from them and then ran back down to meet my friends. They were all laughing like mad men and said that i could have used the escalator which was RIGHT NEXT TO the stairs.

I spent my 20th birthday at Ohayocon and I got a goodnight hug from a half naked neko boy who proceeded to drunkenly lay on top of me and purr. o////o lol But I think this year (my 23rd birthday at Ohayocon) will be the best. I’ll be having my giant Harkonnen with me!!

Otakon 2009 was oodles of fun. There were so many great things, its hard to pinpoint a favorite. Top of the list would have to be seeing Uncle Yo’s show on saturday, and taking pictures at the Kuroshitsuji shoot. Masquerade was pretty good too. ^_^

i have not yet beento any cons.TTbut when i was reading this comic,i was hearing it as a leeetstreet boys song!lol.

Playing Dark Heresy up in the room thne walking a mile and a half to eat at Rainforest Cafe, eating, and walking back in time to get good seats for a concert.

Why that was the only good food within a mile and a half I don’t know.

when i went to memorilla, my 1st con. even though its sorta small i ended up getting lost and “straying” from my “party battle team” X3 i missed almost all of the events, because i was too busy buying things and hugging cosplayers X3

at defcon in vegas last year, i was able to break throug a group of security and shake Adam Savage’s hand.

usually i have bad times i had my wallet stolen one year another time my cosplay got wrecked but last year was when i kissed i girl i was trying to go out with for years cant wait to see u in august

Mine are at PortCon is year when I hug someone while I was holding my Fuku pouch, the person said that it was getting a plushie hug, and at Connecticon also this year seeing Uncle Yo for the first time.

Drinks with Scott McNeil and Spike Spencer. ‘Nuff said.

*daydreams* My very first Ohayocon….Such an epic weekend that I got to go to completely by chance. *beams* I met awesome people and got totally glomped for dressing like Gaara.

Fishing for fan girls with yaoi…it was violent and beautiful

my best memory… I got the autograph of the english voice actor for Sebastian from Kuroshitsuji. AND he said my voice was cute! X3

Anime Expo: People were trying to get a piece of voltron (yellow) into the convention center and it would not fit. Then a man dressed like jesus proclaimed as loud as he could “I AM JESUS I WILL MAKE IT FIT!” jumped up, pulled the lion leg down and pushed it into the convention hall. He then shook hands with the people who were delivering the lion and left.

my best convo memory: my and a few friends, waiting for the cosplayers to enter, and my friend saw Sponge Bob cosplayer ,a bit far from us. i said: meh, whatever.. as he was jumping around pathetically, up some stairs.. my friend said: hey, i think Sponge Bob would look better if he fell, i could actually help him by pushing a bit. i said: O_o .. stop that <_< let the poor guy be, his life sucks at the moment… she said: hey, i think he's starting to sing .. *guy sings* .. me: … uhm need help pushing him? he might hold on to that bar thing..

Ironically, one of them involved me hugging a Sasuke and Itachi, dressed as Hinata from Naruto. A second was walking around, same year, earlier in the day, and getting a suprise hug from a Naruto from behind. I played the Hinata part well out of natural instinct. I wonder if there’s a picture of that…

Well it would have to be going to animethon this year with my ex girlfriend (we are still great friends). And we got to see you guys. we got to stand right infront of frogs infront of the stage. And i was that really anoying girl in the ouran cosplay who kept bugging you matt. lol
