Ever see something you want to try but your afraid you will regret it? Yup…I’ve done that. But they aren’t all as bad as you think….ok maybe one of them is. Here’s a couple oddities I’ve run into..the good, the bad and the just plain awful (and not in that order!)

~*Azuki Pepsi*~
Should I be drinking this or dabbing it behind my ears?

Pepsi in Japan just couldn’t be Pepsi. The ever ingenious Japanese put their own lovey spin on the American classic. A sweet cola taste with the popular AZUKI (red bean) flavor. I saw this and knew i had to try it out. The flavor initially hits you as cola…but goes down red bean. The smell alone is enough to make you even more curious, its very aromatic…like a perfume your grandmother might wear. It’s not very refreshing…at all, though a welcome change in the vast world of cola.

Buy it again? Nope. Im a Coke girl. :)

~*Sasebo Burger Drops*~

This little number caught my eye on J-list. Apparently “drop” candies are a hot item in japan, even though it’s just a simple hard candy. Again those wacky Japanese aren’t content with a simple strawberry or other fruit flavor, they move beyond that totry and mimic popular food stuffs around the country. the sweet and the savory. I opted to try a burger flavored drop, since itwas the most interesting concept to me. It’s pretty much exactly what you would think too, not good. If you can’t get your hands on these (or don’t want to shell the 5 bucks) but want to experience the flavor…grab your favorite hamburger and dumpsome sugar on it. The up side is it’s a great practical joke to play on friends.

Buy it again?- Only as a joke.

If you thought the cake was a lie...
Flavor-2 Package-3

This is an item i tried many moons ago and dug up for this review in particular. I thought they looked good, like a thin ice cream cone filled with mousse. They come with 3 flavors, chocolate strawberry and a “cream” like flavor. Every single one of them were not very good at all. Take whatever flavor your trying, give it the consistency of seized chocolate and funny enough the exact taste of seized chocolate…yeah! even the strawberry tastes like its seized! Something that looked so good made me very disappointed. The box isn’t anything special..but i keep it because the memories of that day.

Buy it again?- No.
