I once played hand slap with my buddy, his kids, and Optimus Prime (Gary Chalk) at Mechacon.

A-kon 21. Two guys we’re sword fighting, and one guy unleashes a wicked upward slash. He catches the other guy’s badge and sends it flying upwards all the way to the ceiling, where it get’s stuck. He then proceeds to send his girlfriend over to registration to try and get a replacement badge.

Um, make that A-kon 20.

My first con… I was proposed to by a complete stranger. Heh~

Probably the fact I was glomped by a complete stranger, but I wasn’t cosplaying…

There was someone cosplaying as a cardboard box. I was so hyped up on Pocky to where, when we were rolling the Katamari around, I stole it and ran after him, screaming “BOX! BOX!!!” I didn’t see it, but I’m pretty sure it made for an epic visual.

I watched as some guy recorded a video while playing voices of high-pitched “aliens” searching for mario…It went on for a good while, and I later found the video on youtube.

Master Chief tea-bagging another Halo cosplayer. It wasn’t THAT weird, since people do it all the time on the actual game, but to see it in real life was… yeah…

I had yet to have a strange thing happen to me at a con

but i haven’t seen any thing strange at cons ether.

Collosalcon 8 i saw a Magical Trevor and he even had the song playing from his clothes. just 1 of the interesting things we saw. also started a dance line next to the vendors room with my friends. it was awesome!

I saw a conga line start out with two people then end up with a entire hallway of people and then decided they should dance at the rave instead of the hallway. and one of them yelled “lets take this party OUTSIDE!” it made me giggle until five shinigami’s from five different anime’s started a mock fight and took out their ‘weapons’ then I just started rolling XD

Ok it didn’t happen to me but it did happen to my boyfriend. Some guy came up to him at AB 2007 and asked if he could take a picture of him and he asked why. The guy says he was cosplaying and my boyfriend replied as what and the guy said well you’re Naruto. We all had a laugh because he wasn’t cosplaying at all and because of the orange Columbia jacket my BF was wearing the guy thought he was Naruto.

A yaoi conga line! (that I started)

At Sakuracon 2008 in the dealers room I was stopped by a Japanese couple asking whether or not I knew what my shirt meant. When I said yes, then recited both the Japanese and English translations they took a picture of me. I wasn’t even in cosplay.

At Sakuracon 2008 my shoes got stuck in an escalator which made the convention staff need to turn it off

I was mistaken as a Bouncer… I was trying to look like the black guy(not racist) in the Final Fantasy Advent Children Movie who was wearing glasses, tall, bald head, and wearing a smart outfit. I was able to look like, somewhat look like him with my gay(real girl:lesb) neighbor who did my make up that made me look like black and shaved some facial hair plus the top part of the head. People keep asking where or how or even why on some things. But, there were cute girls who where small and cute (not little girls who are young, just short girl ’cause I’m kinda tall for my age) starring down at them *blush* very revealing cosplays and sometimes just plain cute tourist.

At one computer convention i go to, this one group set up a projector that projected everyone’s name and ip address if they where on the internet, it also showed their login passwords but those where stared out.

weirdest thing i ever saw at a con was at my first con. I was dressed like an EXTREMILY popular naruto character (sakura) and suddenly a fanguy glomping horde was running at me and i ran like hell.
