I agree with Hillary. I’ve only been to one and that was Acen 2009. It was amazing! I got to be with friends that I’ve known for years and I got to be me and I loved it. I got so many picture requests too! I felt like a celebrity and I wasn’t even cosplaying!!

I love going to cons to spend time with friends and geek out. Lately i’ve been going to a boatload more than expected…but i’ve been in the dealers room..so i don’t get to see much of the convention itself T.T

simply put, there isn’t only ONE main reason i go! allll the little things: nerding out, cosplays, the swag, performances (especially the leetstreet boys) and just the simply ecstasy is what i love!

Buying new buttons to put on my bag, and seeing everyone’s awesome cosplay are my top two reasons, but I also love meeting all the awesome people there. Plus, if I come with friends, we have a good geeky time there without people judging us.

Everything. The people, the atmosphere, the panels, the shopping. And, just getting out of the small town I live in is great enough. But, being able to hang out with the people I love in a place where we’re all accepted is just the greatest thing that could happen to me.
I don’t have a number 1 reason…I love EVERYTHING about conventions. Piecing together cosplay with friends, singing anime songs on the way…the stands, the art, the games, the contests, the dances! Nothing quite like it.

here’s a truth, im a person who makes people get intimidated by me(as told by my friends) but in reality in some cons when i see something cute like a Mokona or Keroro Gunsou dolls.. BUY IT quick! but if my friends find about the truth about me with cosplay anime and other stuffs. i don’t know what to expect from them. oh well. still Ultraman Cosplay!!!
Well…Im going to my first Con in november, its called SugoiCon 2010, and the reason im going is because…I think I can finally have a place where i can be myself and people wont laugh at me, a place where all the people around me share the things that I enjoy, a place where I can cosplay and people wont point and stare with mouths agape…And where I can be as much of a me as i can be.
