Today is Ryan “Frogs” McCormack’s birthday, the co-founding member of LeetStreet Boys. Since he’s such an awesome producer and awesome guy, today’s blog is an biographical tribute to him.

Frogs first began his music career on the Nintendo Entertainment System, as a guitarist for acclaimed rock group, Battletoads.

Unfortunately, the group fell apart before the 16 bit era, though GameStop still might have a copy of Battletoads if you call them and ask.

After the traumatic breakup, he joined numerous other bands including Freeride, The Bowling Gnomes, The Neon Calm, and Oh Crap! Ninjas. Here is Frogs performing onstage with Lucy Lawless (Xena Warrior Princess) at a gig in 2007:

After being impressed by a rough acoustic demo of “Yuri The Only One,” Frogs signed on as bassist, guitarist and producer of LeetStreet Boys. The rest, as they say, is history.

When away from LeetStreet Boys, Frogs spends most of his time in LA playing leapfrog with his bass, and freaking people out with the elusive frogface!

Without Frogs, there would be no LeetStreet Boys. Everyone, wish him a happy birthday! :-)
